Prince George and Lheidli T'enneh - Leading Forests of Change
The City of Prince George and the Lheidli T'enneh Nation are proud to be chosen as Forest Capital of British Columbia 2008 by the Association of British Columbia Forest Professionals. This title will provide the City of Prince George and the Lheidli T'enneh Nation an opportunity to showcase their collective expertise and leadership as they rise to meet the challenge of dealing with a forest in transition - a forest of change.

The Prince George Forest Capital Committee is an energetic and committed group of professionals from many sectors of our community. We are eager to showcase our communities and celebrate all our varied relationships with forests - historic, cultural, recreational, environmental, social and economic. We have planned an outstanding calendar of activities that spans the entire year, and includes activities for the entire community. Each event is planned to showcase not only our forests and forest industries, but also the Association of BC Forest Professionals. We are confident that these events will instill pride in
our forest industry for each and every attendee.
Prince George is a worthy candidate for this award and we are proud to celebrate "Prince George - Leading Forests of Change" with the Association of BC Forest Professionals in 2008
